Jane Zhang is a senior at Westlake High School California and serves as the CVSC officer team strategist. Jane has been involved in the CVSC since freshman year and is working to develop strategies to meet the CVSC’s goals and projects and to keep commission members active in the community. Aside from the CVSC, Jane is an aspiring entrepreneur and launched ConnectMe, an online platform that helps high school students find opportunities from student-initiated projects in 2018 at the MIT Launch Summer program. She went on to become a semi finalist in the Diamond Challenge International Entrepreneurship Challenge and is now sharing her love for entrepreneurship by founding the MIT Launch club to teach her fellow high school students how to start their own companies as well as mentoring student companies across the nation. Through her work with the CVSC, Jane aims to apply her entrepreneurial skills to give CVSC members guidance and access to resources so that they can solve real problems in their communities.
