Lori Qian is a sophomore at Westlake High School. She has been with the Lead with Purpose Foundation (LWPF) since eighth grade. She enjoys coaching adult non-native English speakers at the LWPF’s English Enhancement Program and has gained valuable experience from participating in various LWPF activities. At school, Lori is a straight A student and passionate about math and science. She has won various competitions and is elected as Secretary of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Club and Publicist of the Science Olympiad Club. Lori is also a seasoned pianist, winning local and state competitions. Spreading her love for music to the community, she regularly plays piano at retirement homes. Furthermore, Lori plays tennis for her school’s team. With the LWPF, Lori hopes to improve her leadership and communication skills, further contribute to her community, and positively impact those around her.
