Andy Jin serves as the Chair of the Conejo Valley Student Commission for the 2017-18 school year. He has been involved in CVSC for three years and has enjoyed seeing the organization and its members experience tremendous growth. Andy pioneered the Teen Link Program this year, creating a supportive atmosphere for members to share thoughts, concerns, or questions about school or personal life. Outside of CVSC, Andy served as the California State President for Future Business Leaders of America and Founder of the Hand-in-Hand Community Service Program. He loves to inspire others to see the beauty in numbers and the power of data. Driven by this passion, he founded the Data Science Club at Westlake High School and presented his talk “Statistical Lenses” at the 2016 TEDxYouth@Conejo event. Andy Jin is very passionate about data science in engineering, business, humanities, and medicine. He will attend Stanford University this fall studying Computer Science and Data Science.
