Jasmine Liu is a sophomore at Oak Park High School and serves as VP of Communications for the LWPF Student Commission. Since the 8th grade, she has had many personal projects such as science for autism and related disorders kids, coordinating community events to expand her horizons, and giving back to her community. She has a passion for communications and hopes to be an entrepreneur in the future. Jasmine is a part of many programs, and started many projects. Her passion of communicating with different people allows her to coach Scratch coding lessons, teach the minority STEM, and is founder of the International STEM Education Foundation. Inside of school, she is the co-president in her school’s Culture Club, part of her school’s varsity tennis team. Additionally, she likes to play clarinet and guzheng in her free time and also takes pride in her artistic abilities. Jasmine will use this opportunity as a student leader to give back to her community and grow as a person.
